Hi Camila. First of all, I myself am a fantasy writer who “believes in the genre.” In fact, I’m currently querying a fantasy novel (serious, not humor or parody). Adventure Story is branded as “a loving parody of the fantasy genre” implying that I’m making fun of tropes that are also near and dear to my heart. I’m not sure why you’d assume I’m “fed up with the genre.” I’m also not sure why you feel the need to jump into someone else’s comments to defend someone calling a person’s writing a “pile of crap.” There’s no place here for this sort of behavior and there’s no place for those who condone it either.
As for the artwork - if you can’t tell whether it was made by AI or a human, then why do you care?
